Responder Training offers a range of first aid workshops suitable for students and staff alike. We have industry experienced instructors who bring a wide range of experience into the classroom, this makes the training not just educational but fun. Our workshops and instructors are flexible to suit the schedule of the school. We can divide groups between instructors or deliver the training over a number of different days.
Courses for staff can be delivered over various days to suit schedules and training days. PHECC First Aid Response courses are delivered via blended learning. This course requires learners to complete 1 day of e-learning on the LMS at their own pace. This is followed by 2 days of in person practical training. These dates can be split up to suit learners. This course is certified by the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council and is valid for 2 years.
Our emergency first aid course is a good way of quickly training your staff in the fundamentals of basic first aid. This course allows you to supplement your PHECC First Aid Responders in the workplace.

Responder Training provides a 1 day Emergency First Aid course. This course is mostly suited to staff at the school to help them recognise and treat common injuries and emergencies. This course can be delivered in 1 day.

PHECC First Aid Response is a fully certified first aid course that meets the obligations of the Health & Safety Authority. Our FAR course is delivered via blended with 1 day online via self directed learning on the LMS and 2 days in the classroom.
Students will receive a PHECC First Aid Response certificate valid for 2 years. There’s a ratio of 1:8 per instructor for this course.
Students will learn about incident management, CPR, bleeding, fractures, soft tissue injuries, poisons, common medical emergencies, altered levels of consciousness and first aider welfare.
