A cardiac first response Community level is a person trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) who can respond to someone who has suddenly collapsed. This 4-hour CFR Community course can play a critical role in keeping a person alive until the commencement of expert medical care.
In this course we will cover:
The aim of this Cardiac First Response course is to give learners the awareness and skills to assess a life threatening situation and apply life saving skills.
This course is suitable for those who require to be certified in the use of an AED for use within the community.
This course is delivered in person over 4 hours with the use of an instructional DVD.
This course requires learners to demonstrate chest compression, provide rescue breaths and the use of a trainer AED.
On successful completion of the course a PHECC Cardiac First Response – Community certificate will be issued in affiliation with Qualtec.
All certificates will be sent digitally and can be verified online. We can also re-issue a certificate if you can’t locate it.
Certificates will be valid for 2 years.
This course is delivered through english. All participants should have fluent english.
There’s a limit of 6 leaners per 1 instructor for the Cardiac First Response Course
Cardiac First Response training should be carried out by people who may require these skills in the home, workplace or community.
