First Aid Response (FAR) replaces Occupational First Aid. This course fulfils the Health & Safety requirements for workplaces. This course is for an individual who wishes to have a formal recognised qualification to provide first aid to a person before the arrival of the emergency services.
Course Content:
The aim of this First Aid Response course is to give learners the awareness and skills to assess a life threatening situation and apply life saving skills.
This course is suitable for those who require to be certified to satisfy Health & Safety requirements in the workplace.
This is a blended learning course. Training is delivered via self paced e learning and 1 day in the classroom to complete the practical training. This can be flexible schedule to suit learners and groups.
On successful completion of the course a PHECC First Aid Response certificate will be issued in affiliation with Qualtec.
All certificates will be sent digitally and can be verified online. We can also re-issue a certificate if you can’t locate it.
Certificates will be valid for 2 years. To avail of the First Aid Response Refresher course your certificate must be still in date.
To avail of the refresher course all participants must have an in date First Aid Response Certificate. There’s no grace period available. If your certificate has expired you can join our next FAR course.
This course is delivered through english. All participants should have fluent english.
Learners will require access to the internet and laptop/tablet to complete the online section of this course.
There’s a ratio of 8 leaners per 1 instructor for the First Aid Response Course.
If you’ve a larger group size we can facilitate this with additional instructors or extra courses.
First Aid Response training should be carried out by people who may require these skills in the home, workplace or community.
